Jeremy was the owner of a company doing residential landscape design and project management. He grew frustrated over his 15+ years as the owner with his lack of cash flow and his lack of understanding of his finances in general.
Through the process of self-study, building a bookkeeping and consulting practice, becoming a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor, earning a Master’s to prepare him for the CPA exams and four years of experience in public accounting, Jeremy began to understand better the problems that he, and most contractors, struggle with in regards to their finances and cash flow.
He now has a passion for helping other contractors understand their money better so that they can focus on designing, building and maintaining beautiful things rather than staying up at nights wondering if they will have enough money to make payroll or pay the IRS for the profit they have to report.
Additionally, Jeremy spent a good portion of his time as a public auditor working with non-profit companies as the auditor, helping them prepare for audits, helping them with grant compliance and with financial statement preparation. Now he enjoys passing on the tricks and tips he learned as he helps non-profits prepare for audits and secure and keep grants.
Jeremy came to my rescue,I was upgrading from pro 2015 to pro 2018 and moving computers the whole thing got jacked up in the process and was ready to throw the computer out the window. Jeremy came out in 10 mins had the problem solved and would not take any payment what a hero thanks Jeremy
I was looking for a fix to an issue I created for myself in QB2014. Jeremy Lott answered his phone on the 3rd ring, not a voicemail. He was eager to assist with my issue. The options he presented were failrly simple. The consultation and trouble shooting were free. He only mentioned costs after I asked him for his regular rates. Jeremy seemed more interesteed in helping me fix a problem than he was in getting my cc number.
Jeremy is a great guy to work with!
